Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store baggage, and to carry out locking even when a passenger does not carry a special key besides a railway ticket.
SOLUTION: A storage section 1 is composed of an opening-closing door 10 and a locking mechanism locking the opening-closing door. A reading section 11 is fitted onto the front of the storage section 1, and locking is performed by using an NCC (a noncontact card) 20 employed as a railway ticket. That is, the recorded information of the NCC 20 such as the kinds of the tickets, destination, ticket numbers, etc., is obtained through the reading section 11 in a control section in the storage section 1, and the recorded information is stored as key information while the locking mechanism is brought to a locked state. When the recorded information coinciding with the key information is acquired through the reading section 11 when the locking mechanism is brought to the locked state, the locked state of the locking mechanism is released by the control section.
