In the bagging apparatus in which a bag is opened upward, and an object to be packaged is thrown in the bag, a plate-like flap oscillated within a hopper is provided. The flap is located in the closing direction of the inside of the hopper except when the object is thrown in, and forms a waiting posture above the lower end of the hopper. When the object is thrown in, the flap is pressed by the object and oscillated, and hanged below the lower end of the hopper.
