PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bait fish holder enabling simple, rapid and safe attachment of fishing bait.SOLUTION: A bait fish holder 10 includes: a sinker head 20; a fishhook part 30 fastening one end of a shaft part 31 supporting a bait fish 80 to the sinker head 20 and including a curved part 32 curved in a prescribed direction on the other end of the shaft part 31; a central needle part 40 for thrusting the bait fish 80 supported on the shaft part 31 from the mouth to the inner part; a first arm 50 fastened to the sinker head 20 on one end and including on the other end a first lateral needle part 54 for piercing from one lateral of the bait fish 80 placed on the shaft part 31; and a second arm 60 fastened to the sinker head 20 on one end and including on the other end a second lateral needle part 64 for piercing from the other lateral of the bait fish 80 placed on the shaft part 31. Both arms 50 and 60 are movable so as to sandwich and separate the bait fish 80 placed on the shaft part 31.
