PURPOSE: To enable a smooth air discharging to be carried out through a discharging port and further to enable an energy saving to be attained without reducing a combustion efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided an infra-red burner 13 storing a ceramic combustion plate 10 formed with a plurality of flame ports 9 and 16. A surface density of the flame ports 16 formed at both sides of a front door 5 and a rear discharging port 7 of the ceramic combustion plate 10 is made to be closer than that of the flame port 9 formed at the other part, thereby a flame at each of the flame ports 16 is extended to get secondary air and concurrently the flame is expanded to ignite smoke generated from a cooking item 17a, resulting in that a discharging of smoke can be reduced and a heating region of wide forward or rearward heating distribution can be attained.
