This balance includes a plurality of load cells 10 having a strain element 11, strain gages Z1-Z4 attached to a strain section 11a of the strain element 11, and a converting circuit for converting the variation in resistance of the strain gages Z1-Z4 into an electric signal. The manufacturing method of the balance includes a step of measuring the output variation value per any temperature variation of each load cell 10 and recording the measured value in association with each load cell 10, a step of selecting a load cell having the output variation value at which the sum of the output variation values of the plurality of load cells 10 possessed by the balance is a predetermined reference value or smaller from the load cells whose output variation values are recorded, and a step of incorporating the selected load cell into the balance.
