Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance piston type relief valve, with which the relief pressure can be easily adjusted by two stages via a pressure reducing valve. SOLUTION: A compression spring 15, which pushes/presses a poppet valve 13, is provided in a cylindrical part 17a of a main body case 17. A spring chamber 16 is almost cut off by both an outlet passage 18 of the poppet valve 13 and a collar part 13a of the poppet valve 13. A spool 19 is accommodated in the main body case 17 in the same axial line as that of the spring chamber 16. A pilot port 31 provided to the main body case 17 communicates with a primary pressure port 26. An output port 27 constantly communicates with the spring chamber 16, so that the hydraulic pressure of the output port 27 acts on the collar part 13a of the poppet valve 13. In addition, a pressure reducing valve spring 21 is provided between an adjustable plug 20 attached to the main body case 17 and a collar part 19a of the spool 19.
