Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent swiveling of a child valve, and make generation difficult of an abnormal sound.
SOLUTION: A balance type relief valve 1 has a parent valve 4 opening/closing a passage of high/low pressure side, back pressure chamber 5 introducing a back pressure energizing the parent valve in the closing direction through a throttle 34 from the high pressure side, valve hole 6 connecting this back pressure chamber 5 to the low pressure side, valve seat 7 formed in the valve hole 6, child valve 8 seated/ unseated in the valve seat 7 to open/close the valve hole 6, spring 9 energizing the child valve 8 in the direction seating it in the valve seat 7, and a piston 10 fitted to the vale hole 6 to receive in one end a pressure of the high pressure side to press by the other end the child valve 6 in the direction unseating it from the valve seat. In a part where the child valve 8 and the piston 10 are brought into contact, a means 11 is provided, which presses the child valve 8, when it is unseated, in the diametric direction of the valve hole 6 pressed partly to its peripheral wall. In this means 11, for instance, in a surface into contact with the child valve 8 of the piston, a tilt surface 38 tilted relating to the direction orthogonal to an axis of the spring 9 is formed. The piston 10, child valve 8 and the spring 9 are arranged on the same axis, a contact part of the piston 10 and the child valve 8 is provided outside the axis.
