PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts by employing a motor for driving a rotor as a part for closing a pump chamber and fixing the rotor directly to the motor shaft.

CONSTITUTION: A vane pump unit 15 comprises a body 16 forming a pump chamber, a rotor 17, a cover 18 and a motor 19. The endface 19A of the casing for the motor 19 closes an opening at the end section of the pump chamber and the motor 19 associated with a motor shaft 20 holds the rotor 17 directly. An input port, an output port and a path communicated with said ports are formed only in the cover 18. Consequently, conventional support, connector, etc. can be eliminated thereby the number of parts can be reduced.
