Abstract:
To inhibit oil stirring by a balancer shaft.SOLUTION: A balancer device 20 is disposed at the lower side when viewed from a crankshaft. The balancer device 20 includes a first balancer shaft 21, a first balancer mass 26, a first housing 31, and a second housing 41. A direction along a rotation center axis of the first balancer shaft 21 is referred to as a first direction X1. An edge as seen in the first direction X1 in the first housing 31 and an edge as seen in the first direction X1 in the second housing 41 form a first through hole 61 through which an end as seen in the first direction X1 in the first balancer shaft 21 penetrates. The balancer device 20 further includes a first cover 51 and a third cover 53 which cover at least a part of a gap between the first through hole 61 and the end as seen in the first direction X1 in the first balancer shaft 21 from the X1 side in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
