To provide a balancer housing structure which can increase a flow path area between a strainer mounting part and an intake path while suppressing the lowering of rigidity or the upsizing of a housing without the need for complicated processing or work.
A balancer housing 30 of an engine 1 is provided in an oil pan 4 and axially supports balancer shafts 11, 21. The balancer housing 30 includes: a cylindrical strainer mounting part 37 provided to extrude downward at the bottom wall of the balancer housing 30; a tubular path 67 which is inwardly disposed along the balancer shafts 11, 21 in a position neighboring to the strainer mounting part 37 of the balancer housing, and led to an oil pump 60; and a communication path making a bottomed recess 65 communicate with the tubular path 67 in the strainer mounting part 37. The communication path is configured of a plurality of circular cross-sectional paths 66.
