Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancer of an internal combustion engine capable of positioning and fixing a balancer shaft to a balancer housing, and suppressing agitation resistance of oil.SOLUTION: An input shaft 13 constituting a part of a lower balancer shaft 12L includes a driven sprocket 13a fixed to the outside of a balancer housing 14, and a first journal 13b formed near the driven sprocket 13a and provided with a pin insertion hole 13g. In a first journal bearing 21 of the balancer housing 14 pivotally supporting the first journal 13b, a pin insertion hole 14e penetrating radially is formed at a position corresponding to the pin insertion hole 13g.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
