Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase quickly in the beginning of ascent and reduce gradually near the termination a hanging-up force to the natural stop in a vertical moving exercise using a balancer under the hanging-down state and reduce gradually the hanging-up force at quick-landing in the beginning of descent for gentle landing with reduced speed.

CONSTITUTION: A balancer 1 provided with a timing lift increasing device 7 started by an acceleration sensor 9 from the upper portion of a support member 12 and operated for a specified time by a timer is hung down, and a swing arm 2 is disposed below the balancer. A base of the arm is journalled by the support member, and the intermediate portion of the arm is mounted to the balancer. Also, a hanger 3 is mounted to the tip of the arm and a hanger mounting portion fulcrum C is located below the extension of a straight line interconnecting an arm base journalling part fulcrum A and a balancer mounting part fulcrum B.
