PURPOSE: To easily separate carrier from modulation signal, and to make small the size and broad the band without requiring complicated filters, by directly applying modulation signal to the conductor surrounded with slot lines.
CONSTITUTION: Slot lines 3, 4 connected with diodes 6, 7 are in loop shape, and a lead 14 connected to almost the center of a ground conductor 5 surrounded with the slot lines 3, 4 forming this loop is not coupled to carrier propagating on the slot lines 3, 4, then the modulation signal is fed from a terminal 1 by using the lead 14. On the other hand, carrier is input from a terminal 8, and it couples to the slot lines 3, 4 at a modulation section 10 via a microstrip line 2 through a HPF 15 interrupting modulation signal. Thus, the separation of modulation signal and carrier can easily be made.
