To provide a ball bearing apparatus for a wheel which can prevent deformation caused by the thermal expansion of a disk rotor from being generated.
The ball bearing apparatus is characterized in that a plurality of rows of rolling bodies 3, 4 are interposed freely rollably between an outer cylinder member 2 and inner shaft member 1 so that the outer cylinder member 2 may rotate with respect to the inner shaft member 1. A disk rotor 5 for a brake is attached to the outer cylinder member 2. In the outer cylinder member 2, an attachment surface 7 for attaching the disk rotor 5 by making a side face located near the inner circumference of the disk rotor 5 parallel to it is formed. The apparatus includes a bolt 8 which projects from the attachment surface 7 and penetrates an insertion hole 11 formed at the disk rotor 5, a nut 9 engaged with the bolt 8 and sandwich the disk rotor 5 in a space with the attachment surface 7, and a belleville spring 10 interposed between the nut 9 and the disk rotor 5, and the belleville spring 10 absorbs the deformation of the disk rotor 5 in the bolt axis line direction.
