Abstract:
To provide a ball bearing capable of preventing creeping and also reducing a bearing width of a bearing.SOLUTION: A plurality of balls 6 interposed between a raceway 3 of an outer ring 2 and a raceway 5 of an inner ring 4 is held by a holder 7 at intervals in a circumferential direction. The outer ring 2 has a peripheral groove part 9 in which a groove bottom surface 9a is a cylindrical surface at a center in an axis direction of the outer circumferential part, and a width dimension W in the axis direction of the groove bottom surface 9a is greater than or equal to 1/2 of the raceway width of the outer ring 2. An annular member 10 made of a flexible synthetic resin is fitted into the peripheral groove part 9. The annular member 10 is formed by integrally forming a pair of side parts 10a and a plate-like intermediate part 10b positioned on the radially inward side between them, and a recess 10c is formed on the radially outward side of the intermediate part 10b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
