Abstract:
PURPOSE: To quickly and surely clean a golf ball with a small and lightweight structure by positively rotating a rotary brush arranged in a frame, feeding the ball to a cleaning section from an entrance opening section, holding it with a stopper, and cleaning the surface of the ball with the tip of the rotary brush.
CONSTITUTION: When a ball 7 such as a golf ball is to be cleaned, the cover body 8 of a frame 1 is opened, the ball 7 is mounted on an entrance opening section 103, then the cover body 8 is closed. A rotary brush 2 is rotated by a power means 3, and the ball 7 is sent to a cleaning section 104 side by this rotation until it collides with a stopper 5 at a position 7'. The surface of the ball 7 is cleaned by the tip of the rotary brush 2 while the ball 7 is held on the cleaning section 104. The whole periphery of the ball 7 is cleaned in sequence when it is slowly rotated while being cleaned. When the cleaning is completed, the rotary brush 2 is reversely rotated, the ball 7 is returned to the entrance opening section from the cleaning section 104 side, the cover body 8 is opened, and the ball 7 is taken out.
