PURPOSE: To facilitate the collecting of balls by collecting balls in a collecting tool body using a spring force when a user repeats the action of pressing a ball collecting section onto a ball present on the ground while holding the collecting tool body with hand.
CONSTITUTION: An upper portion of a collecting tool body 1 is bent horizontally to form a handle grip 2. The end of the handle grip 2 is then bent downward to form an outlet 3. The lower end of the collecting tool body 1 is provided with a ball collecting section 4 in which a shutter joint 7 is freely rotatably connected by a shaft 6 and a spring 5. The shutter joint 7 is connected to the lower end of an operating lever 8 extending through a lever holder 9 along the collecting tool body 1. The upper end of the operating lever 8 is provided with a pull hook 8a. Holding the handle grip 2, a user presses the ball collecting section 4 onto a ball, and operates the operating lever 8 with the pull hook 8a to open and close the shutter joint 7, thus taking the ball into the collecting tool body 1. As the user takes in balls one by one, the balls are gradually elevated in the collecting tool body 1 and then discharged from the outlet 3.
