Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-type constant velocity joint assembly which can prevent the desorption of balls from an outer ring by a low-cost constitution.SOLUTION: A ball-type constant velocity joint assembly comprises an outer ring 11, an inner ring 12, a plurality of balls 13, a shaft 15, a cage 14 and a boot 16. The boot comprises: a large-diameter cylinder part 16a; a small-diameter cylinder part 16b; a tapered part 16c which is integrally connected to the small-diameter cylinder part side of the large-diameter cylinder part, contracted in diameter toward the small-diameter cylinder part, and buts on the balls which are located at an opening end of the outer ring; a telescopic bellows part 16d which is integrally arranged between the tapered part and the small-diameter cylinder part; and an annular wall 16e which protrudes toward the radial inside of the tapered part from an internal peripheral face of the tapered part within a range of the bellows part side rather than an abutment point with the balls of the tapered part out of the internal peripheral face of the tapered part.
