Title:
BALL DETECTING DEVICE OF BALL-SHOOTING GAME DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3920941
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball detecting device of a ball-shooting game device which can be mounted even in a small space.
SOLUTION: This ball detecting device has a ball detecting circuit 30 for optically detecting balls passing through a ball passage 20 and a case 40 for enclosing the ball detecting circuit. The ball detecting circuit has a circuit substrate 31, a light emitting element 32 and a light receiving element 33 arranged on the circuit substrate an opposed to each other across the ball passage, and driving elements 34 for driving the light emitting and receiving elements. The case has a pair of slits 50 facing the light emitting and receiving elements and opposed to each other across the ball passage and a circuit storage space 60 accommodating the ball detecting circuit. The circuit storage space has a pair of ends 61 having slits and opposed to each other across the ball passage and a middle part 63 located halfway between both ends. The driving elements are placed at each of the case, and the thickness of the middle of the circuit storage space is set to be almost equal to the plate thickness of the circuit substrate.
