To provide a ball forming apparatus by which fine working is performed even to a work which is complicated in working conditions.

A projection apparatus for dropping projection materials B on the conveying route of the work is composed of a hopper 31 for feeding the projection materials B, a projecting port 32 through which the projection materials B are dropped or projected and delivering devices 33 with which the projection materials B are intermittently received from the hopper 31 and delivered to the projecting ports 32. The delivering device 33 is composed of a revolver 37 and a revolver driving device for revolving the revolver 37 around the axis between the hopper 31 and the projection port 32. In the revolver 37, a plurality of pockets 37b for receiving the projection materials B are provided in parts where are opposed to the outlets 31a of the projection material of the hopper 31 and the inlets 32a of the projecting ports 32 by the revolution around the axis and, by revolving the revolver around the axis, the delivery of the projection material B from the hopper 31 to the pocket 37b and the delivery of the projection material B from the pocket 37b to the projecting port 32 are performed.
