This golf training device is provided with a radiation means to radiate beam including UV-ray to the surface of the balls supplied to each hitting booth for forming an image of discrimination marks corresponding to the hitting booth, a ball reach detecting means 7 to detect when the ball hit by the practicer reaches a specified target position, a recognition means 8 to detect phosphorescence emitted from the surface of the ball reaching the target position, and recognize the discrimination mark, and a specifying means 17 to specify the hitting booth of the practicer hitting the ball based on output of the recognition means 8. Information related to the discrimination mark is thus recorded utilizing phosphorescence of the luminous paint.
