To solve problems in which a conventional ball joint has a ball holding part in a snap fit structure for holding a spherical part but the spherical part is easily removed from the ball holding part when tensile force, vibration or impact is applied, because of no lock mechanism in the snap fit structure, and the ball holding part having high rigidity for hardly removing the spherical part therefrom requires strong force during assembling insertion or disassembly, resulting in lowered working efficiency.
This ball joint comprises a ball holder having a ball receiving part having face contact with a head top portion of the spherical part provided at one end of a movable shaft to cover the head top portion, and a ball holding part having elastic contact with the peripheral face of the spherical part to clamp the spherical part, for rockably or turnably supporting the movable shaft around its spherical part. The movable shaft has a ball holding supporting part for covering the ball holding part to strengthen the clamping force of the ball holding part on the spherical part when the ball receiving part has contact with the head top portion of the spherical part.
