Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball joint capable of fixing a dust cover to a socket with a stable attitude only by a fitting work, and suppressing falling of the dust cover from the socket.SOLUTION: A fitted portion 211 includes an outer peripheral part 212 with a step having a larger diameter at an opposite side in a fitting direction to the fitted portion 212, of a fitting portion 120, and the fitting portion 120 is composed of an annular end portion disposed on a dust cover body having a body portion. A metallic reinforcement ring 150 is buried inside of the annular end portion, the reinforcement ring 150 has a diameter reduction portion 152 of which a diameter is reduced toward a side opposite to the fitting direction, and a tip of the diameter reduction portion 152 is hooked on the step in the fitted portion 212.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
