Title:
BALL PICKUP ROD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000325502
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enable a user to easily collect golf balls in a standing posture in a golf driving range, etc., by mounting a octopus-like rubber implement capable of clamping the golf balls lying down on the ground surface to the front end of a rod of a suitable length.

The octopus-like rubber implement 2 is mounted to the front end of the rod 1 of the suitable length provided with a handle 4 in an upper part. At this time, octopus-like fittings and attraction implements made of plastic, etc., capable of attracting the golf balls are equally well in place of the octopus-like rubber implement 2. Rubber is stuck to the inner side of the attraction implements or a glue-like attaching agent is applied thereto at need. When using the implement, the user holds the handle 4 with the hand and places the rubber implement 2 to the golf ball 3 lying down on the ground surface, thereby holding the ball 3 into the rubber implement 2. The user brings the rod l in this state to a ball housing cage and lightly tap the rod 1 with the edge of the cage to drop the ball 3 into the cage, thereby housing the ball into the cage.
