Abstract:

To provide a ball screw capable of preventing or reducing the occurrence of an initial trouble resulting from no lubrication even in the case of driving the ball screw as piping in a lubricating system remains unprepared when assembling the ball screw, and to provide its lubricating method.

The ball screw 10 comprises grease A (initially filled lubricant) filled in gaps 36 between rolling elements before actually operating the ball screw, and oil B (operating-time lubricant) to be supplied into the gaps 36 between the rolling elements when actually operating the ball screw.
