To provide a ball screw press machine capable of relieving impact acting on a ball screw mechanism in load-acting time, capable of highly maintaining processing accuracy in molding, and capable of also lengthily maintaining the service life of a metal mold.SOLUTION: A ball screw press machine 1 of the present invention comprises a ball screw mechanism 20, and a damper 70 is arranged between an undersurface 26A of a pressure plate 26 integral with a screw 21 and a damper holder upper surface 30A integral with a slide 30, and when the damper 70 is compressed and deformed by a prescribed quantity after contacting a work W with an upper die 40, a prescribed clearance S is provided between the undersurface 26A of the pressure plate 26 and the damper holder upper surface 30A in a state of not contacting the work W with the upper die 40 so as to abut between the undersurface 26A of the pressure plate 26 and the damper holder upper surface 30A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
