A ball return path is formed of a ball return path 111c and an end deflector 5 within the nut 1. Two ring-shaped non-contact seals 41 and 42 are disposed on both ends of the nut 1 in the axial direction through predetermined spaces K1, K2 respectively. A vent hole 111b is formed within the nut 1 in order to suck air within the spaces K1 and K2 by a suction mechanism. A suction hole 13 from the outer peripheral surface of a flange 12 to the vent hole 111b is formed separately from a grease supplying hole 14. A communication hole 41a which allows the spaces K1 and K2 to communicate with the vent hole 111b is formed in a first contact seal 41.
