Title:
BALL SHOOTING DEVICE FOR GAME MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3773280
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To shoot a game ball normally even when a return ball remains in a guide part by stopping the supply of the game ball when a residual ball is detected, simultaneously running idle a rotary arm and eliminating the residual ball from the guide part by the rotary arm.
CONSTITUTION: A residual ball detection sensor 93 detects the residual ball in a guide passage 63, and a detection signal is inputted to a shoot control part 6A. The shoot control part 6A sends a command to a latching solenoid 85, and stops the supply of the next ball P2. Simultaneously, the rotary arm 65 is rotated by sending a command to a motor 68. Therefore, the rotary arm 65 runs idle without providing the ball to be shot, and abutted with only the residual ball remaining in the guide passage 63. In this way, the residual ball is shot advancing a game part or a foul port, and eliminated from the guide part. After the residual ball is eliminated, control is returned to ordinary shooting control. The elimination of the residual ball is performed by setting the rotating strength of the rotary arm 65 at a level over the required minimum rotating strength.
