Abstract:
To provide a ball spline can prevent dints at each ball spline raceway even if an excessive torque is given.
The ball spline is configured so that the ball spline raceways 2b and 21 on a shaft 2 and a ball spline outer cylinder 4 make a four-point contact with a ball 20. A V-spring 22 is arranged at each ball spline raceway 2b of the shaft 2 in such a way as able to pinch the ball 20. An involute spline 23 is installed between adjoining the ball spline raceways 2b.
