To provide a ball swallowing amount suppressing device for a new carrying and polishing device capable of carrying pachinko balls while polishing them without biting by avoiding carrying of the pachinko balls in a state of adhesion during transfer without regard to the speed of a carrying belt.

The pachinko ball carrying and polishing device is for carrying the pachinko balls on an endless belt. Among guide grooves, a guide groove with the shape of a cross section in contact with the pachinko balls via two points is formed on the upstream side of a carrying path to function as a pachinko ball swallowing amount suppressing part, and the other guide groove has the shape of a cross section in contact with the pachinko balls via one point and is connected adjacent to the downstream side of the pachinko ball swallowing amount suppressing part. Thus, the pachinko balls are carried keeping spaces for avoiding contact with each other on the carrying belt during a carrying and polishing process so as to prevent occurrence of biting of the balls.
