Abstract:
To provide a ball valve having a heat-resistant structure suitable for being installed in a pipe conduit under a high temperature environment and a pipe conduit for a high temperature fluid, and not requiring a component made of a specific heat-resistant material.SOLUTION: A casing 1 for housing a valve element 2 in a valve chest 1c and a main body jacket 5 covering a circumference of the casing are integrally molded, a fin 15 having slots 15a is radially disposed on an outer wall of the casing 1, a bonnet 4 for closing an upper portion of the valve chest 1c in a state of inserting a valve shaft 3 and an upper jacket 6 covering a circumference of the bonnet are integrally molded, and the casing 1 and the bonnet 4 are respectively cooled by a fluid flowing in hollow portions 22 and 25 between the main body jacket 5 and the upper jacket 6, thus sufficient heat resistance can be achieved without making a component such as a packing 16 for sealing the whole casing 1 or a part between the bonnet 4 and the valve shaft 3, from a specific heat-resistant material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
