Abstract:
To improve followability to a valve element of a seat ring as a valve seat and to improve sealability between the seat ring and a casing, in a floating-type ball valve.SOLUTION: A bellows portion 9b and a fixed portion 9c are disposed on a seat ring 9, and the bellows portion 9b is expanded and contracted while following oscillation of a valve element in a state in which the fixed portion 9c is axially fixed, so that a main body portion 9a of the seat ring 9 is axially moved and constantly pressed to the valve element by a proper pressure, and sealing between the seat ring 9 and the casing 1 is performed by a gasket 14 incorporated between an inner face of the fixed portion 9c of the seat ring 9 and an outward engagement face 1d of the casing 1. Thus, a conventional seal member such as a packing in slide-contact with the seat ring becomes unnecessary, followability to the valve element of the seat ring 9 can be improved, and sealability between the seat ring 9 and the casing 1 can be also improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
