Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a sampling ball valbe in which sewage reserved in the valve can be washed and new sewage alone can be sampled by a specified amount.
CONSTITUTION: In a ball valve, an input port 15 is communicated with an output port 16 by forming and turning a communication hole 12 penetrating a center portion. An air escape port 33 and a sampling port 34 are formed on a center line substantially perpendicular to a center line passing the input port 15 and the output port 16. After flowing sewage from the input port 15 to the output port 16, a ball valve body 11 is rotated. The air escaping port 33 is communicated with the sampling port 34 through the communication hole 12. The sewage stored in the communication hole 12 is thus flowed from the sampling port 34.
