Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce force for rotationally driving a ball valve element in a ball valve.SOLUTION: A valve chamber 1A, a primary side opening 11, a secondary side opening 12, a seal member fitting part 13, a rotation shaft holding hole 14, and an assembly hole 15 are formed in a valve body 1. An angle shaped communication hole 2A is formed at a ball valve element 2. A seal member 3 (a sealing elastic member) fits in the seal member fitting part 13 between the secondary side opening 12 and the ball valve element 2. A rotation shaft 7 is rotatably held in a rotation shaft holding hole 14 and a fitting claw part 74 of the rotation shaft 7 fits in a fitting groove 23 of the ball valve element 2. A support pressing member 4 and a coil spring 5 are arranged in a lid member 6 and the lid member 6 is screwed into the assembly hole 15. The support pressing member 4 and the coil spring 5 bias the ball valve element 2 so that the ball valve element 2 tightly contacts with the seal member 3.
