Abstract:
To provide a ball valve which enables a reduction of the number of components and downsizing and has a simple structure.SOLUTION: A ball valve includes: a ball valve body 30 which is pivotally supported so as to rotate relative to a valve body 10 and is provided with a third through hole 31 provided so as to communicate with a passage 2 formed by a first through hole 10h of the valve body 10 and a second through hole 20h of a cover member 20; a seal member 50 which seals a gap between the ball valve body 30 and the cover member 20; and a rotation restriction part 70 which restricts rotation of the ball valve body 30 at a position where the ball valve body 30 closes the passage 2. At a range which is not brought into contact with the seal member 50 when the ball valve body 30 rotates, in the rotation restriction part 70, a protruding part 18 is provided on an inner surface of the valve body 10 and a recessed part 38 is provided on an outer surface of the ball valve body 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
