The ball with the built-in IC tag comprises a ball body 2 with a spherical hollow space 3, the IC tag 5 built in at the center of the hollow space 3 in the ball body 2 while stored in a tag holder 4, and a plurality of cord-shaped elastic bodies 6 spread between the inner spherical face of the ball body 2 and the outer surface of the tag holder 4. The plurality of cord-shaped elastic bodies 6 are extended radially from the outer surface of the tag holder 4 toward the inner spherical face.
