Abstract:
To provide a balloon catheter causing less discomfort of a patient at the time of insertion and installation.SOLUTION: A balloon catheter which comprises a catheter body 20 having a first flow channel 22 and a second flow channel 23 in the inside, and a balloon part 40 in a discharge port side end part 21 of a catheter is such that: the balloon part 40 comprises a flexible expandable/contractable tube 41, and includes a first connection part 42 where one end part 41a in an axial direction Y of the tube 41 is connected to a discharge port side end face 20b of the catheter body 20, an inversion part 43 where the tube is inverted in the vicinity of the discharge port side end face 20b, and a second connection part 44 where the other end part 41b in the axial direction of the tube is connected to an exterior wall 20a of the catheter body 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
