Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balun transformer, the productivity of which will not decrease, and the design and manufacture of which do not become complicated, even if the impedance ratio between the frequency band used and a balanced transmission line/unbalanced transmission line changes.
SOLUTION: A plurality of first insulating layers, in which conductive patterns for a first coil and conductive patterns for a second coil are formed, are laminated, the conductive patterns for the first coil are connected to each other and the conductive pattern for the second coil are connected to each other to form first and second coils having the same number of turns, and the first and second coils are connected between an input terminal and a dummy terminal. A plurality of second insulting layers, in which conductive patterns for a third coil and conductive patterns for a fourth coil are formed, are laminated, the conductive patterns for the third coil are connected to each other, and the conductive pattern for the fourth coil are connected to each other to form third and fourth coils having the same number of turns. The first and second coils are placed opposed to the third and fourth coils via the second insulating layers.
