Fence columns are formed at specified intervals by fixedly burying the lower parts of bamboo cut to a predetermined length in the ground. A plurality of through holes are laterally drilled in each of the columns at intervals in the vertical direction. The bamboo fence bodies are installed between the columns by inserting both end parts of the bamboo with a predetermined length into the facing through holes in the adjacent columns. Bamboo wedges are fitted in the clearances between the bamboo through holes and the bamboo as the fence bodies.
