A pressed bamboo material obtained by pressing a divided bamboo material divided peripherally in a direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the bamboo, is further pressed in a direction crossing the longitudinal direction of the bamboo with at least a pair of upper and lower processing rollers wherein many narrow grooves are provided parallel to the longitudinal direction of the bamboo. A fleshy part around a vascular bundle constituting the bamboo is removed. Stem-like pieces obtained by cutting the processing bamboo material comprising one or several pieces of the vascular bundles and adhesives of, for example, urea resin and the like are mixed to form a specific form. By heating, compressing and forming for example at 120 to 130°C by a pressure of 25 to 30 kgf/cm2 for about 20 min to obtain the bamboo made material for building (the bamboo made particle board).
