To provide a bamboo material processing apparatus capable of efficiently collecting bamboo fibers from a bamboo material.
A bamboo material processing apparatus 100 processes a bamboo material 1, and includes: a bamboo material compression crushing unit 10 and a bamboo piece crushing unit 50. The bamboo material compression crushing unit has: a pair of rollers 11, 12 that are driven by rotation in the opposite direction, each other, while outer peripheral surfaces are adjacent; a plurality of pressurizing units 17 that are projectively provided on the outer periphery of one roller 12, and pressurize the bamboo material 1 that has proceeded between the rollers 11, 12 to the other roller 11; and a cutter part 18 that gives cuts to the pressurized bamboo material 1 that is formed in a roller shaft direction of the pressurizing units 17. The bamboo material compression crushing unit crushes the bamboo material 1 to obtain bamboo pieces 2. The bamboo piece crushing unit has a pair of bladed rollers 51, 61 that are driven by rotation at different rotation speeds in the opposite direction, each other, while the outer peripheral surfaces are adjacent, and furthermore fragments the bamboo pieces 2 between blades 52, 62 of the respective bladed rollers 51, 61 to obtain bamboo fibers 3.
