PURPOSE: To cope with fastening work of various kinds of bands, secure sufficient fastening force while simplifying structure and reducing the cost, and reduce the fatigue of a hand and enable also cutting work so as to improve work efficiency.

CONSTITUTION: A band fastening tool is formed of a pair of tool bodies respectively having handle parts 2A, a pivot 3 for connecting the bodies 2 into scissors shape so as to be relatively rotatable, roller type band holding bodies 4 and cutting edges 5 respectively provided at the tip parts 2B of the bodies 2, a finger hook member 6 mounted onto the outside (lower side) of one (lower side) handle part 2A, and an opening spring 7 provided between both handle parts 2A. The outer periphery of the band holding body 4 is provided with an antislipping means 4A by knurling work or the like.
