Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band rubber material transport control device and a band rubber material transport control method for controlling the transport of a band rubber material so as to be able to accurately detect a size change portion of a band rubber material and appropriately stop the size change portion at a predetermined position on the basis of a detection result.SOLUTION: A band rubber material transport control device comprises: displacement sensors 4, each disposed above a midway portion of a conveyor 2, for measuring a thickness of a band rubber material G transported on the conveyor 2; detection means for comparing the measured thickness of the band rubber material G with a threshold set separately and detecting a size change portion; and control means for controlling the conveyor 2 to transport the band rubber material G so as to transport the band rubber material G by a predetermined distance and then stop the band rubber material G if the detection means detects the size change portion.
