A band saw blade of the present invention includes a band plate and teeth (11a to c, 12a to c, 13a to c, 14a to c, 15a to c, 16a to c, 17a to c, 18a to c) projecting from the plate. The teeth are arranged in a repetitive main group, and each main group has repetitive pattern subgroup and repetitive set subgroup. Each pattern subgroup has teeth (11a to 18a, 11b to 18b, 11c to 18c) of at least two different heights, high and low, and even number of teeth. The set subgroup has at least five kinds of teeth of normal left set, middle left set, no set, middle right set, and normal right set (11a to 16a, 17a to 14b, 15b to 12c, and 13c to 18c) and six teeth.
