To reduce cost of expendable parts by exchangeably engaging and pressing a ring-shaped member having abrasion resistance higher than a wheel itself into a portion on which a band saw blade is hung in a saw blade wheel.
Because a saw blade winding portion 9 is abraded when a band saw blade is directly hung on the saw blade winding portion 9 of a driving wheel 3 made of casting material with less abrasion resistance, a ring-shaped member 13 having abrasion resistance higher than a wheel itself is exchangeably engaged with and pressed into this saw blade winding portion 9. When the ring-shaped member 13 formed by forming a body material of the band saw blade in the circular ring shape and welding it is pressed into and fixed to the saw blade winding portion 9, even if the ring-shaped member 13 abrades by contact with the band saw blade, cost of expendable parts can be reduced by exchanging only the ring-shaped member 13 without requiring the expensive driving wheel 3 itself. Because exchange work of the ring-shaped member 13 can be easily performed, work time is shortened and exchange cost is restrained low.
