Abstract:
To provide a band saw machine capable of performing cutting processing at high speed by a semi-dry method.SOLUTION: A band saw machine (91) includes: a first wheel (31) that applies tension to a band saw blade (5) to properly tracking and a second wheel (32) located below the first wheel (31); a first supply part (71) that is arranged between a lower most end (P6) of the second wheel (32) traveling from the second wheel (32) to the first wheel (31) to a workpiece cutting position (P1) in a rotation travel path of the band saw blade (5), and injects cutting liquid (L) that has been made to be mist (L1) to a tooth part (5b) of the band saw blade (5) or drips cutting liquid (L); and a second supply unit (72) that is arranged between the workpiece cutting position (P1) to the second wheel (32), and pours cutting liquid (L) or cooling fluid on the band saw blade (5) or jets cutting liquid (L) or cooling fluid to the band saw blade (5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
