Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly, stably remove a band wrapper that ties a bundle of paper.
SOLUTION: A band wrapper treatment device includes a band cutter to cut off a band wrapper that ties a bundle of paper, a band catcher that catches and removes the band wrapper from the bundle and carries it to the storage standby position, and a band pusher mechanism 46 by which the band wrapper carrier to the storage standby position is pushed into a slit 71 of a band storage cassette 45. The band pusher mechanism 46 has a pusher plate 74 that is inserted into the slit 71 while it pushes almost in the middle of the band wrapper arranged at the storage standby position, and a cut 71a is formed at the lower end of the slit 71. After pushed in the slit 71, the pusher plate 74 is inserted in the cut 71a and pulled out toward the front side of the band storage cassette 45.
