Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a color image of a desired color with fidelity even when fixing condition is varied when a color image is formed by producing a pattern shaped electrostatic latent image on an image carrier utilizing a laser beam source with a plurality of color toners.
CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with the image carrier 29 forming a toner image, an electrifying means 40 to uniformly electrify the surface of the image carrier 29, an image exposure means which is modulated by an image forming signal to write in a dot image on the surface of the image carrier 29 by the image forming signal, developing means 30 and 31 having toner stick to the electrostatic latent image formed on the image carrier surface, a fixing means to fix the toner image on a transfer material after the toner image formed by the toner sticking is transferred to the transfer material, a first control means varying the fixing condition of the toner image and a second control means controlling the quantity of the stuck toner by variably controlling at least one of the conditions of the electrifying means, the image exposure means and the developing means linked to the variation of the fixing condition.
