Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the deterioration of a band use rate with respect to the connection of a small input band and to share a fair output band by adding delay to time until cell abolishment is actually started after a threshold means detects the excess of a threshold in accordance with the band at every measured connection. SOLUTION: Delay is given to time until an abolishment means 12 actually starts cell abolishment after a threshold means 15 detects the excess of a threshold in accordance with a band at every connection, which is observed by an observation means 10. Namely, an input band is observed when a cell is inputted to a band sharing circuit 1 and a marking means 11 gives a mark meaning the priority abolishment when the excess of the threshold is detected when the band exceeds a setting band. An adjusting means 14 recognizes the size of the band of an input connection and inputs a threshold monitoring result from the threshold means 15. When the number of cells remaining in a cell buffer 13 exceeds the threshold, an abolishment instruction is given to the abolishment means 12 after delay time corresponding to the size of the recognized band elapses.
