Abstract:
PURPOSE: To replace a bundling band under a condition in which bank notes before being bundled do not exist at an accumulating part, obviate to re-count the bank notes prior to bundling and reduce the labor of an operator.
CONSTITUTION: Bank notes P which are taken out from a feeding part 5 are accumulated at a temporary accumulating part 20 after the type of the bank notes, etc., is discriminated at an audit part 8. The bank notes which are accumulated at the temporary accumulating part 20 are bundled by a tying band 65 by each specified number at a banding part 4. When it is detected that the residual quantity of the bundling band is small by a lead switch 92 to detect the residual quantity of the bundling band 65, at the moment when a specified number of bank notes are accumulated at the temporary accumulating part 20, the taking out motion by the feeding part 5 is stopped. Then, after the bank notes P which are accumulated at the temporary accumulating part 20 are bundled at the banding part 4, it is signaled that the residual quantity of the bundling band is small.
